The Role
You will be required to provide simple lunches at our Men’s Luncheon Club. We currently provide either sandwiches or/ and hearty home made soup and bread, followed by a pudding. It would be great if you are able to make the soups; however, they are currently pre-prepared and frozen – old fashioned school dinner style puddings are favourites. We currently provide lunch for around 26 people at this group.
Help is required in clearing the kitchen and washing the pots after lunch.
There may be further opportunities to cater for additional events and fundraisers.
Skills/experience required.
It would be great if you have catering experience and food hygiene certificates, but an ability to provide simple home cooking would be sufficient.
We can provide training for the food hygiene and allergy certificates or their renewal if required. We would also provide basic training in Understanding Dementia and can source other training as required subject to discussion.
